May 2003 Newsletter

Hello again everybody   Spring is in the air and isn’t it just gorgeous. A belated happy Easter to you all and I hope the Easter bunny was kind to you all. “I don’t know”, getting over the Christmas indulgence is bad enough, then woo betide it’s mothers day, then a month later the shops are full of chocolates and Easter eggs. Then guess what, two months after that the TV and media are full of holiday promotions, and most of us start thinking “I’d better lose some weight”.

February 2003 Newsletter

Hello Again Everybody  Well, as we are now already into February, can I be the last person to wish you a happy new year! For any of you stuck with no New Year resolutions, please consider writing an article for the newsletter, no matter what you want to talk about, it would be great to hear from you (especially if you have a humorous tale to tell). I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, enjoyed lots of seasonable nibbles & didn’t put on too much weight at Santa’s expense. Ours was very quiet but also enjoyable. We went to see Dick Whittington in Panto at the Kings Theatre, Southsea. It was a terrific turn out & amazing fun & entertainment. I must congratulate the theatre on their excellent disabled access & facilities. My best wishes to you all for 2003.
